In producing its report, the ACMSF has considered the most important viruses associated with foodborne viral
infections, these include norovirus, hepatitis A virus and hepatitis E virus. The Committee consulted a number of
key stakeholders during the production of the draft report to ensure that the latest science, surveillance and data
were available in their deliberations and evidence gathering.
